Major Organs Printables

Starting in late elementary, students can learn about the role and function of some major human organs. We suggest introducing the human heart, lungs, brain, skin, eye, and stomach.

Additional major organs of the human body include the kidneys, liver, small intestine, large intestine, and bladder. Learning about major human organs is not only important for understanding location and function, but will lay the foundation for learning about how organs work together in human body systems during middle school science lessons.
