Here is a helpful list of all 66 books of the Bible in canonical order from Genesis to Revelation. You can quickly copy and paste this list for your needs. The first 39 books (Genesis – Malachai) are included in the Old Testament, and books 40-66 (Matthew – Revelation) are included in the New Testament.

It’s a common mistake to believe the Books of the Bible are presented in chronological order, but they are not! Traditionally, they are grouped by the style of literature in Canonical Order (listed above). This is why our Books of the Bible Charts and Books of the Bible Flashcards are color-coded to each division so that your students can easily distinguish the groups.
